- Types of personal data
We process the following data:
- Personal contact details such as your first name, last name, permanent address, address for sending documents, email address, contact telephone number, ID/ or passport number, birth number, academic degree, date of birth.
- Payment information such as your bank account number and the amount of the service charge.
- Details of correspondence and communication. Such as email correspondence, internet traffic and IP address.
- Purposes and objectives of data processing
We will process your data for the following purposes:
- Provision of accommodation services. We have to keep records of the guests accommodated in accordance with specific regulations. The legal basis is the fulfilment of the legal obligation of the operator.
- Tax and accounting. In order to fulfil our obligations under the Tax Act and other regulations related to financial compliance, we are obliged to process certain personal data. The legal basis is the performance of legal obligations.
- Dispute resolution and investigation of offences. We may process personal data for the purposes of resolving disputes, complaints or legal proceedings or if we suspect an offence that we would like to investigate further. The legal basis is the performance of a legal obligation and the legitimate interest of the controller.
- Who has access to your data?
The controller may share your data with third parties in the following circumstances:
- We may share your personal data with other third parties acting on our behalf, such as a service provider. In such cases, these third parties may only use your personal information for the purposes described above and only in accordance with our instructions. We have contractually obligated them to comply with the security guidelines governing them in law.
- If required to do so by law or court order, we may share your personal information with, for example, our suppliers or clients, tax authorities, social security offices, law enforcement or other government authorities.

Your personal data will be located exclusively within the European Union and the European Economic Area.
- Retention of personal data
We retain your personal data for a limited period of time and this data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing. In most cases, this means that we will retain your data for the duration of your relationship with us. Where possible, we will delete the data during your relationship with us once it is no longer needed. In any event, we will delete your personal records no later than the expiry of the statutory time limits after the end of the contractual relationship, unless legislation requires us to retain them.
We may process your personal data for a longer period of time after the end of the relationship in the event of an ongoing legal dispute or if you have given us permission to retain your personal data for a longer period of time.

In many cases, we will also need to process your personal data on the basis of a legal obligation under a specific regulation. Right to repair

Right to restriction
From the moment you have requested the rectification of your personal data or if you have objected to processing and until we are able to investigate the problem or confirm the accuracy of your personal data (or amend it according to your instructions), you are entitled to limited processing. This means that we (with the exception of data retention) can only process your personal data in accordance with your consent, where it is necessary in connection with legal claims, to protect someone else's rights, or where there is a significant public interest in the processing. You can also request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if the processing is unlawful but you do not want us to delete the personal data.
Right to object
If you believe that we do not have the right to process your personal data, you can object to our processing. In such cases, we can only continue processing if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms. However, we may always process your personal data if it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to data portability
You may request that the personal data you have provided to us for processing on the basis of consent or for the performance of a contract be provided to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to request the transfer of this information to another data controller.
Withdrawal of consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent and we will subsequently stop our processing activities on this legal basis.
In case of doubt, you have the right to initiate proceedings pursuant to Section 100 of the Personal Data Protection Act with the competent supervisory authority, for example by www.dataprotection.gov.sk.

rights?
If you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal data, including in relation to the rights set out above, you can contact us at info@euromotel.sk and your suggestions and requests will be examined. If you are not satisfied with our response, or if you believe that we are processing your data unfairly or unlawfully, you can complain to the relevant supervisory authority, which is the Data Protection Authority (DPA).
